Question by Number 47: This WordPress theme doesn’t install correctly on my server, what did I do wrong?
I have this theme called Horizon by Cancerbox and it’s not installing.
I have the latest version of wordpress, and I don’t know what to do.
I uploaded the contents from the rar file into the wp-content/themes folder, and it says it can’t find stylesheets, etc.

You didn’t do anything wrong.
It’s simply NOT a WordPress theme – it’s a PixelPost theme according to the About file in the zip.

If the web site has it to install, then use the Install Utility in the Control Panel that is supplied.

No not at all.
Upload the theme’s files to
wordpress/wp-content/themes/
then go to your wordpress’ CP, Appereance, Themes, and choose your theme.

Well your gonna have to have access to your web server like FTP or a file manager
–FTP Method–
I would recommend you use FileZilla client. So what ever FTP Client you use connect to your domain or subdomain (Note some webhosts give you a specific address). Use your username and password that your webhost provided with you and once there, find wordpress folder open wp_content there is a folder called themes place all the files included in your theme. Once this is completed log in to your website and look for themes the theme should appear there set it as default and your good.
– File Manager (CPanel) –
Login onto CPanel this is for www.cpanel.net type of control panel, once your look for File Manager under files and open it, once there upload your theme .zip file to the server, after it there press the file and then press the extract button this will prompt you to a folder choose the wp_content -> themes (Don’t make another folder) then afterwards Once this is completed log in to your website and look for themes the theme should appear there set it as default and your good.

Login to your wordpress site and then go in to the theme manager. Once in the browse to the zip file of the theme you downloaded and then click uplaod. Once its done uploading the theme will show up in your theme manager, just apply it.
